Yesterday we were running our family errands when we found ourselves inside a pet store... we thought there were dogs for Dayton to look at. No dogs or cats, only fish, lizards, snakes, hamsters, ferrets, etc.
Suddenly I opened my mouth and asked, "Dayton, do you want to get a fish?!!" I'm sure you can imagine how excited he was - so Dayton and Rob picked out the Beta that he wanted. "What are you going to name your new fish Dayton?" "Red fish!" And so we have a new member of the Decker family... Red Fish (and he is indeed red!) I will add a picture soon!
This morning before school Dayton comes running into my room and tells me that he added the "drops" into the fish bowl. Immediately I think oh no.... he was just trying to help out but he added a bunch more of the clarifying drops to the water... I hope Red Fish isn't doing the backstroke when D gets home from school!
